Drain Light Flashing

Description of why Light is Flashing: The condensate overflow level has been reached for 30 continuous seconds

Potential causes

1. Drain pan plugged
2. Drain line plugged
3. Drain line does not pitch away from unit correctly
4. Vertical vent is not installed on horizontal drain lines over six feet long

It would be recommended to get a jug of water to pour down the drain if the drain is empty by the time you are there for service. Make sure to tape the vent to seal it during this process. See if the drain has proper flow. If it does not have proper flow you may need to use a small plunger or even your hand on the hole of the drain pan to push the blockage out. If you cant unblock the drain use appropriate type of Draino solution for your customer (Use approved solution if customer has septic bed).*
