Premium G Water to Air Geothermal Heat Pump Low Pressure Fault
**Low Pressure Fault description: ** The normally closed switch is opened for 30 continuous seconds
Low Pressure fault can mean different things depending on if your heating or cooling
Low Pressure fault (Heating)
- Water flow may be restricted or inadequate
- Entering water temperature may be too low (Undersized Loop or too much antifreeze)
- Return air temperature may be blow 50 degrees F (10C)
- The system may be undercharged
- TX Valve restriction, Seized or Blocked
- Bad capacitor
Low Pressure fault (cooling)
- Airflow inadequate (If RPM is off then fan motor could be in operatable)
- Dirty Air Filter or air coil (Remove filter and inspect both the filter and air coil for debris)
- Return Air temperature may be below 60 degrees F (15c)
- The system may be undercharged (Check for refrigerant leaks near air coil, schrader valves, heat exchangers, TX Valve)
- TX Valve restriction, Seized or Blocked
- Bad Capacitor
